It's been over 10 years since I've done music. I've written, demoed and recorded songs... but never released anything. I thought it was was time to change that.

The early 2000's was quite a couple of years for music. 

​

I remember watching MTV... remember watching all of these music videos that screamed pop-punk melodies and hard rock riffs. Everything had an impact on me. From Simple Plan's "Welcome To My Life", Green Day's "Jesus of Suburbia", My Chemical Romance's "Helena", or Blink 182's "I Miss You". But what really grasped my attention was Dave Grohl screaming "I'VE GOT ANOTHER CONFESSION TO MAKE". That's a moment I'll never forget.

In 2011, I moved to Chicago. I started a band. I joined a band. But I really moved to Chicago for college. I worked my ass off for college, my degree, my "future". For all of my college years, music was put in the background. That's the real reason I never accomplished much in my music career. Though we'll never know for sure what could've happened, my regret is not trying harder and not putting music first.

Ten years later, music continues to be important to me, but remains in the background. Ten years and a global pandemic later, I'm finally sharing my music. I hope you can join me in this journey, from the beginning, starting now. I'm Luis and this is my journey called "We Are The Prdct".
